At step 6, number represents the maximum monitor's refresh rate. Make any appropriate changes. Also, make sure v-sync (vertical synchronization) is off from in-game settings.

1. Go to Documents\My Games\Chivalry Medieval Warfare\UDKGame\Config

2. Open UDKEngine.ini

3. Ctrl+F and typ "framerate"

4. Set bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE

5. Set MinSmoothedFrameRate=0

6. Set MaxSmoothedFrameRate=144

7. Launch game, feel the smoothness
